Methodology

VINdown computes depreciation analytics from provider-reported valuation points. Providers may differ in coverage, definitions, and update cadence.

Providers

• Sample: seeded synthetic valuations for a consistent demo experience.
• CSV: admin-uploaded valuations (recommended for real deployments).
• Licensed providers: optional. Not enabled by default. Scraping is not supported.

Analytics

• YoY $ and YoY % are computed from the average series (across available providers) for years where data exists.
• No interpolation by default. Missing years remain gaps.
• Exports include raw provider values plus computed metrics.
